Harry Potter....

" If I could read, I bet I'd be Harry Potter or something"

Ode to the many jokes about Harry Potter. I like the movies, but have yet to attempt the books, which is surprising just because I'm an avid reader. From books into movies, J.K. Rowling, has pretty much created Harry Potter, and now he seems so real, just because how descriptive she was in her novels that was brought into the movies. Plus I bet a lot of people feel like they've pretty much grown up with Harry. I just remember in 6th grade watching Harry's first film that was released in 2001, holy cow. When the first novel was released in 1997, I remember all the hype about the books, but I was interested in other books. I'm so interested by J.K. Rowling's release dates for her novels, it just amazes me, it seems like every few years or months since 1997, a Harry Potter adventure has been born. But Why am I giving history of Harry? I have no idea, I feel like this new knowledge should be your knowledge too?I have absolutely no idea.

Some days I feel like I should be a book critic, sit around and read all day for a job. And be the person author and writers love to hate if there is a poor critique.

Harry Potter is great, for many reasons, Number one, the books, kids love them, read them, obsess over them, which is fantastic psychologically, the more they read, the easier studying and learning in school gets. The 'violence' and problems that Harry runs into, kids can relate to, such as the reoccurring bullies, and gives kids an idea how deal with them.

No matter how much someone could ever hate the Harry Potter novels, they cannot deny that reading is good for not only the children that read them, but for all ages to read them.

And so forth, comes humor about the world's favorite wizard.

"I just came back from the new Harry Potter movie. Harry's getting old. They should start calling him Harold Potter. " - Leo from Funny People (2009)

About the Toy Nimbus 2000 " It seems the replica of Harry's magical broom has bewitched so many teenage girls!"

" Harry Potter and the secret of hormones"

I'm all Harry Pottered out....
