Tick Tock Tick Tock.
Sometimes I wish I could freeze time, and never age. I also wish I had the capability to sit, and formulate a novel, one that had action, fantasy, and romance tied all into one, a novel that people would get lost in, and feel involved in and laugh with the characters sarcasm.
" Like honestly, who in the hell would soup up a freaking Honda Accord?!?"
I cannot figure out how to write a good intro or lead up chapters to the good parts, I could write the good fun parts, like the action, or sarcastic, or high drama parts right now in my head, but when it comes to the typing it out, or even writing it just, comes out as blah blah blah and then blah blah blah.
I really wish I could write wonderful stories that people get lost in, the feeling that you're no longer in this world, but in a different one, maybe a fantasy land. I want the reader to feel as if the characters they read about, are real and they know them, and fell like they are interacting with them as they read.
"You are nothing more than an actor, so how am I suppose to believe you actually want to be with me?"
Sometimes I feel like if I created characters, they all would somehow explain to me how to fix my own problems as well as others. I feel a heavy heart pretty much on a daily basis, I wish I could write a character into feeling the same way sometimes, but I would never want to epitomize myself into a pathetic character, I would want to create completely new people, who remind me nothing of myself.
"Because a pair of sunglasses makes you incognito...."
I envy famous and popular authors, they release numorous novels within a few years, and all sell well, they make it so easy. Letting people into their creative minds. Letting it not flow onto canvas, but from hand to pen to paper, and repeat then repeat again. Descriptive writing, involving the reader in the novel more so.
Onto Random facts about Novels.
Currently in the world there are easily over 10 million novels in existence. Did you know that the Library of Congress is the largest library in the world? It has more than 28 million novels. Currently Agatha Christie, is the top selling authoress in the world, she is only out soldout to the Bible and Shakespeare, which is pretty amazing. One-third of high school graduates never read another book for the rest of their lives. Many do not even graduate from high school. That is horrible! Almost 42% of college graduates never read another book.
"Habent sua fata libelli," books have their destinies, said a Roman philosopher.
But in the end, we are given whatever talents we are given. Mine may never be writing.
